Hiiiii guys!

Hope you’re all having a nice and ice cream filled Summer. Last Tuesday we finally returned home from Lourdes, France. If we were to describe this trip in three words it would be cancelled flights, melting and churches (well that was four words but you get the idea). Lourdes is a small town located at the foothill of the Pyrenees in southern France and it was our third time going there. This time around we (the two of us) went there with our aunt’s family and stayed there for roughly four days. The Sanctuary of our Lady of Lourdes is found in the town and this is also the main attraction. Like so many others, we mainly went there for the church so you can say it was a pilgrimage but we did check out other tourist attractions. For the first time ever we flew to Lourdes and then we rented a car so we could drive around as we pleased.
It was around 35 degrees and we were melting!! We normally despise such hot weather, which also means that we truly don’t know how to dress for that kind of weather. Summer clothing is a non-existent word in our fashion dictionary. This is why you see us walking around in denim jeans and long sleeves on the pictures above heheh.
The food we ordered when we ate out wasn’t really our cup of tea so we just ended up cooking at our hotel, which was -5 stars. On the other hand, their ice creams were really bomb so we ate a lot of that.
The streets of Lourdes were so pretty and we just loved the architecture and just the whole atmosphere.

Let us know below in the comments whether or not you’ve been to Lourdes or if you would like to go there 🙂

Hope you enjoyed the pictures and a vlog is in the making so be sure to keep your eyes peeled (ew hate that expression).

Signing off,
